A true piece of denim history. You're looking pair of Selvedge Levi’s 501XX jeans. Although the patch is missing, the hidden rivets, offset belt loop, selvedge coin pocket, and V-stitch construction confirm this as a XX from the late 1950s–early 1960s.
These features were phased out around 65-66', placing this pair squarely in the 501XX era. A important pair of xx for any collector or designer.
